Update from the foreign land

Well, thought I would make an official post here that says that Matt has found love. I have been seeing a woman for around 2 months or a little longer now, and things are going very good. We are in love, and are doing the whole I love you thing. It keeps growing stronger and stronger every day. She just had surgery this weekend, just a minor surgery, nothing major. It's amazing when you come to the realization how much exactly you love someone when they go through surgery, and you stick by their side 24 hours a day til they are doing well. I actually had to rush her back into the Emergency Room at 3am because she was doing rough, but she's better now. Just amazing that you come to the realization of how much love you really have for someone and doing anything and everything in your power to be there for them. So yes, I finally have someone that actually made me happy to move out here, because if I wouldn't have I wouldn't have found them.

It's been awhile

I know I am bad about posting on here ..

Everything still going well since I moved out here in Nebraska. I actually just traded my Honda in and got a nice 2004 Dodge Ram (Been wanting a Ram for awhile now, so I am happy I am finally able to afford one). For anyone who's interested, its a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 long bed.. V8 Magnum engine (Not a Hemi sorry those are out of my price range), 35 gallon tank, and it's actually had some nice custom exhaust work on it so it makes a nice roar on it.

Other than that I actually work an odd late shift now. I work 2 to 11pm so a lot of my nights are filled up by working, and my mornings are usually spent relaxing and also taking online courses. I am actually taking online college classes for getting my A+ Certification so I can be certified for tech support for computers, which will help me move up a lot at Verizon Wireless if I stay here or go elsewhere thats also a nice certification to have, so I should be done with that certification by the end of the year.

Other than that.. found a couple good friends out here who actually also moved out this way to take the job the same time I did, they actually moved from Arizona. Not much else besides that.. Just working.. enjoying the new truck.. doing the classes and hanging out with the parents and friends when I get a chance. Very hard to meet new people on this wack schedule thats for sure. But everythings been going great! I am just waiting to find out how much registering this truck is gonna cost to get the plates etc... I'm hearing Nebraskas yearly plate renewal is crazy compared to what I am used to in Ohio. From what I am hearing from people.. for a truck like what I got I need to expect around 300-500 dollars.

Life out here

Hey everyone,

Just thought I'd let everyone know that life out here is good so far, I've only been training for a week now, but I can already tell this is going to be one of the best employers I've worked for. All the benefits are phenomenal that I receive.. Everything from basic life insurance to discounts on pretty much everything. But so far everything is going well here!

Job update

Well for those of you that may not know, I decided to accept the job out in Nebraska. So I am moved out here now. The plan for now is to stay out here and finally work on getting a degree in something, which will hopefully allow me to get an easier job back in my hometown.

Decisions decisions...

Well I've been offered a job out in Nebraska where my parents are currently at making a decent wage for that area. Just have to decide by tomorrow afternoon whether I want to accept the job or not. Really would hate to leave the area permanently however it may be a smart career move. Oh I don't know. Guess I'll sleep on it and see how I feel tomorrow.

update

Well I started driving out to Nebraska very early Monday morning and for the most part the trip went really well until I went into Iowa. I wasn't aware but aparently they get the lake effect there and the I 80 I was on was hit the worst. For about 4 strait hoursit was backed up for miles as everyone inched a couple mph for approximately 50 miles. It was terrible, we drove on a sheet of glass practically. In the 50 miles there were over 300 overturned cars in the median due to the ice. But I got past the worse and stopped around Des moines Iowa for the night at a hotel. Finally finised the drive today so I'm at my parents in Nebraska so I'm waiting for them to come home. Just thought I'd let everyone know I made it safely.

Coming back home

Well just so everyone knows I am going to be coming back home to Dayton. My company finally got worried about my medical status with my back problem and they are relieving me from up here to go back to Dayton to find some good medical help. So yeah Im coming back and I dony know how long for, I know they want me to get healed up before I go to work again.

Heh

Got my boss driving up here today so hes going to be spending a couple days up here with me and another guy hes training. Not too thrilled because hes one of the bigger bosses from Dayton, Ohio office. So hes gonna see me still limping around at work from the sciatic nerve issue, and hes probably going to report it back to the office im still pretty hurt. Oh well. At least I know they have no one else willing to work up here hah.

Jun. 20th, 2007

Oy

I just have to say I am sick of this pinched sciatica nerve, I've never had this before and it sucks. It's getting better but still painful after a full 12 hour day of work. Oh well what can you do, I gotta work through it.

*Kills anyone involved in credit bureaus*

Sorry Queena, credit shit sucks ass again hah! I just noticed my payments on my credit card has damn near doubled due to a new thing implemented by the government, that card payment minimum was already high to begin with now its half a fuckin car payment for a credit card thanks to that damn new thing, i understand its to help people pay shit off quicker, but i shouldnt need the government deciding that for me, its called paying more than the minimum when 'I' want to not them.

Itunes problems

Has anyone else had any problems with the new Itunes version 7.0.2?

I tried upgrading yesterday from 7.0.1 to 7.0.2 and it started looping my hard drive and freezing it all halfway through, and now if i try to load anything Ipod related it freezes my whole pc so I have to do a cold shutdown to get it unfroze (holding power for 5 seconds) But I wanted to see if anyone has had this problem also? Ive tried manually uninstalling by deleting the files, tried reinstalling and still freezes and does the same thing. Im getting peeved because its my only program to load my ipod with.

Thanks for any help.

You scored 50% Tough, 4% Roguish, 23% Friendly, and 19% Charming!

You, my friend, are a man's man, the original true grit, one tough talking, swaggering son of a bitch. You're not a bad guy, on the contrary, you're the ultimate good guy, but you're one tough character, rough and tumble, ready for anything. You call the shots and go your own way, and if some screwy dame is willing to accept your terms, that's just fine by you. Otherwise, you'll just hit the open trail and stay true to yourself. You stand up for what you believe and can handle any situation, usually by rushing into the thick of the action. You're not polished and you're not overly warm, but you're a straight shooter and a real stand up guy. Co-stars include Lauren Bacall and Maureen O'Hara, tough broads who can take care of themselves.

New CD

Well, for any Evanescence fans out there like myself, I downloaded the new CD that debuted today from Itunes (gotta love being able to get new CDs without going to the store just for a chance they might have it) Anyway, the CD does not dissapoint in my opinion, I think it even surpasses their original album. Some may dissagree.. but Its alot more mature sounding. Sure to probably surpass the Hot Topic crowd they're known for hah.

New Star Wars'age

Picked up the new 3 DVDs late last night of Eps 4,5,6 rereleased with the Remastered and (what I bought them for) The original unedited theatrical releases. So yeah that set me back about 60 bucks for all 3.. but hey it was worth it. I didnt want to buy those remastered things they put out a bit ago. So anyway I guess I get both releases for the price of one, seeming how I never have bought the star wars movies. So yeah just finished up watching return of the jedi, was great to see all the originals again over last night and tonight.
